I specialise in walk-in sculptures in steel for entrance halls and gardens/outdoors, partly amplified through colour and leaf gilding.
These works provide experiences that make life more intense.
My walk-in sculptures foster the development of new thoughts as they change your perception of proximities. You are able to let yourself glide into new horizons whilst buzzing in energies you create through your own mind.
Thus they are perfect places to arrange meetings, brainstormings, gatherings, think tanks or just dinner parties in an extraordinary setting. They merge simplicity, pureness and strength and appear light and fragile at the same time.

one example:

Rondeau
Steel
220 cm height, 300 cm diametre, 1,4cm strong

another possibility is to plant trees inside the sculpture, so after a while, nature and art cannot be separated anymore without destroying one or the other. one example here:

My sisters gravesign
Steel, 24ct gold leaf

Whenever we have to face death, there is fear.
We often find ourselves speechless, and we very often don't know how to express our feelings.

When it comes to the last sign we want to install for the ones we love, or for our own grave, we sometimes feel lost inbetween what is feasible and our desire to manifest the love we feel for the person that left, the symbol we sense is the essence of this beloved one, or the statement we want to convey.

This is the gravesign I installed on the cemetery of Bausendorf, Germany, which I made for my sister who died 23rd of March 1970. She was a little girl of five years, playing on the street when a truck run over her. She died three hours later in the hospital.

The gravesign, made of steel and gold leaf, shows the pattern of her favorite dress... I felt it was the right figure as resource for the small monument I was able to manifest for my big sister, and I was lucky enough to do it exactly on the 30st day of her death.

In loving memory

------

In Liebe
